Fish Market

Another day with Nut's mum. Our plan of this Saturday is breakfast at Fish market and shopping at Rozelle market.

Half dozen of Sydney rock oysters and half dozen of Pacific oyster. The Pacific one is more juicy while the Sydney rock oyster was more creamy and intense in flavour. I prefer the first one. Nut was very well-prepared dressing (Thai spicy nam jim seafood dressing) for oysters.

Half lobster mornay, wouldn't recommend.. so strachy.

And we bought a box of rice to eat with.....

Singapore Chilli mud crab. first time I tried... Super Delicious !!!

I have never tried in other places but I love this... the crab was really fresh (since it is fish market..haha) and the sauce was flavoursome, salty, sweet and a little bit spicy... I was so inlove with it, lots of licking fingers.

Even we were quite full but we still had another half dozen of Pacific oyster, this time we tried another original place (can't remember from where)... This one was a bit more expensive than the first one and a lot bigger.

After super satisfied, we headed to Rozelle Saturday market, shopped until tired and had a rest at Piccolo's cafe near that area.

The interior is quite cozy, feel like it is runned by Italian family (just my guess). We had latte, cappuccino and a passionfruit slice which was very heavily creamy.

Farmers' Market @ Collingwood children farm

I love farmers' market.. in Sydney, I go to Good Living Grower's Market every month... In Melbourne, I was lucky enough to get chance to go Collingwood Farmers' Market.

The entrance fee is about $2 because you can see the animal inside.

Inside, lots of varieties of food products and veggies. Let the pictures tell you the story :)

The rhubarb pie... best ever! the rhubarb taste was just perfect and the cream on top was incredible nice... Are there any good one in Sydney?

After we walked, we had a small breakfast here at the cafe at the front of the market..

Since my friend said she wanted to take me to try nice coffee somewhere else.. so we had only muffin and danish.. the muffin was the muffin you could find everywhere, the danish was underaverage, too oily.

After that, we headed to Jasper coffee in Brunswick st. So sad we were not allow to take picture inside the cafe.

I personally love this style of decoration..not too neat, not too raugh.. the coffee was nice just that a bit warm.

Our eating day hadn't finish yet.. still came back to the city to eat at Pacific BBQ house ^ ^''

Good Living Grower's Market - Aug 08

This month was my 3rd time for Good Living Grower's Market...I didn't come here last month cuz I went to Melbourne at that time...

There was cooking show about strawberry...

My breakfast was Cherry danish from Consumate...yummy !

After that I walked back to the city and went to my coffee class...

My dinner was Lasanga...I bought the tomato sauce from Coles but I made the bechamel sauce myself....so tasty !

Day 4 in Melbourne Part 1 : Victoria Market

Have an appointment with Bobo around 11 am at Mcdonald's, Victoria Market. I arrived there at 10.55 am then she called that just woke up ^ ^'' ok.....just wait for 1 more hour...

Too hungry so had a skinny mocha at Invita Cafe at Vic Mart...

Still nice...$3.40

Hurrr......long time never came here...now don't wanna go back to Sydney >< . Really want you guys in Sydney come to join me...

Finally Bobo and Beer came...I was very surprised when Bobo was telling me that she got married since this January...wowwww !

We had 3 hotdogs - Mild, spicy and bratwurst...$5.30 each

First time bought Chocolate dipping $1.50

Then just walked around...

And I bought the cuteeeeee gloves and hat made from Nepal...It is really cute ! (but a bit too hairy)
