One day we finished working quite early, about 1.30 pm. Joyce and I went for late lunch at Taste Baguette in Myer. (Joyce is my new friend at Bacco... so happy to have her there, very helpful and nice mature girl)
There are a number of pastries there, tried only banana cake which was quite nice.
Joyce (or Juju called by Brandan and Danny :P)
We shared a Vietnamese Style Lemongrass Chicken:
Grilled Chicken marinated in lemongrass served with coral lettuce, tomato and rocket on wholemeal baguette.
I like the baguette, the chicken was a tad dry but nice flavour.
I like this lovely picture of her :D

i love taste baguettes. i'm suspecting the ones down at Westpac building and on foveaux st are the best. can't go past the classic vietnamese one. the lemongrass beef is really tasty as well :-)
I'm a hugeeee fan of taste baguettes.
I agree with Simon - The one at Foveaux Street, Surry Hills has the most amazing bread.
They manage to make crunchy bread that is incredibly soft when you cut it open.
Simon & Kristy : thanks for recommendation. I will go try at the foveaux st. I love good bread :D
Hey there! there's one in the Met Centre (next to Wynyard St) too!. I tried their tofu salad baguettes and it was soooo good!
edge : wow, thanks, that one is quite near my working place :D
oh yeah! you work in Bacco right? Must visit that place!
edge : yes, come come.. and let me know what do u think :)
Thanks for letting us know about this. It's so hard to find good places to eat in the city! :)
Be careful - their kitchens are filthy and they don't know much about proper food handling practices. I know of many people who've had food poisoning there
