Bourke Street Bakery & Spice I am

Another eating (and shopping) day ! P'Ta, Ping and I started our day at Bourke Street Bakery.

2 snails & pain au chocolate.

Mocha, hot chocolate and flatwhite. (also my fav carrot cake)

My mocha was lovely, strong and not so sweet as in other cafes.

Isn't it such a beautiful table?

hahaha... of course we love taking (ourselves) pictures.
After that we went for a biggggggg shopping for skincare at warehouse... spent lots of money T_T. After that, we had lunch at Spice I am in Surry Hills.

Not many people yet when we arrived but a few minutes after, packed !

Since we had a big dinner waiting for us, we ordered only 2 serves of rice.

Som Tam : Thai spicy papaya salad. Super hot !!! Taste was just like you eat it Thailand, confirmed by P'Ta & Ping (Som tam's fan)

Pad Prik Khing Gai : Stir fried chicken with long bean in chilli paste .. so tasty. They are famous for Pad Prik Khing Moo Krob (Stir fried crispy pork skin) which I have tried... sinfully delicious !

Red curry with roasted duck...

OMG, THIS IS THE BEST RED CURRY I HAD SO FAR !! Even better than in Thailand. I don't know how to say but we were still dreaming of this dish. It was really really tasty, spicy, aromatic and flavourful (made me almost cry when eating it..hahaha). Even it was spicy, I was almost drinking the curry.
So far, here was the best Thai food place I have tried (but some dishes were just normal also). If you want to try Authentic Thai food, please come here and try order those dishes we had (recommend Crispy pork skin for Pad Prik Khing).

Extremely happy !

I love Surry Hills, it is such a great place to go out to eat. My hubby and I often go there without a place booked and we let our noses (and tummies) do the walking :)

Bourke St bakery RULES.
