Tabou

We came to Tabou since Tan wanted to have a fine dining dinner :P

Left : Bellini - Champange and French white peach puree $20 / Champange - Laxcaus $15

Right : Bellini $20 & Kir Royale - Champagne, Créme de Cassis $14

Tan & Ta

Nice baguette !

Crabe : Blue-swimmer crab and tomato consomme terrine, caramelized onion, tomato and thyme $24

Look pretty but its not really my cup of tea.

Soufflé au Fromage: Twice baked gruyere and goat's cheese soufflé $20

It was my first time to have cheese souffle, very light and creamy (however I think its too much for me to have it by my own but Ping said she can do it) . The most favourite of the table.

Assiette de charcuterie - terrine with pistachios, rabbit rillette, bone marrow, saucisson sec, jamon and condiments $48

Oh well, I love Bone marrow

Roasted Lamb and spring vegetables $35

Nicely done but nothing extraordinary.

Canard : Braised duck legs, baby carrots and prunes $33

A hint of chinese five spices... delicious.

Truffle potato puree $15

OMG, lucky we ordered this as the waiter recommended... I am normally not a big fan of truffle but because of this dish, now I like truffle... The best !

Haha..so blur

Muscat de Frontignan, Languedoc Avarus 2006 & Sauternes, Bordeaux Chateau Roumieu-Lacoste''Cuvee Leon"2005

Mousse Au Chocolat : Chocolate mousse, biscuit, truffle, macaroon, sorbet $13

At first we didn't expect to order this dish since we thought its gonna be boring but the "handsome" waiter said it is his favourite... hahaha.... Finally, it was on our table... not too sweet and so many textures to play with... good to trust him :P

Blancmange : Blancmange, raspberry cream, almond milk sorbet $14

Pretty dish but nothing excited. the filling of the macaroon was buttercream which was not nice -_-''

Vanilla Créme Brulée $12
French restaurant, so we couldn't miss Créme Brulée ....

Simple yet nice.. yum !

The atmosphere is not too formal and comfy.. make us feel relax and happy.

How was the creme brulee?! I was supposed to try that when I went to Tabou but my tummy didn't allow it!

Thanks for the nomination as well! Much appreciated. =)

I really enjoyed my meal at Tabou but it has been sooo long since I visited! The souffle does look to be a very generous size-perhaps even enough to be shared!
