One of the hi light meal in Melbourne is
Noisette. I saw this lovely patisserie in
my delicious blog and tell myself I have to go there if I go to Melbourne. Lucky enough that my friend also wanna go there, so we took the tram 109 from Melbourne Town Hall to Port Melbourne which took about 15-20 minutes to get there.
It is the modern cafe with the yellow and brown decoration owned by Breton David Menard who was a head baker at Laurent Patisserie many years before establishing Noîsette
First my foot was inside there, so happy already.
We were there quite early..around almost 10 am.
Lots of pastries and croissants.
I want all ><
Lovely cakes
Sandwiches
After order and pay at the counter, sit here
my friend, Nut,'s Bowl of Café au lait.. After I saw this, I want ! so nice and I really like the bowl..haha
My skinny cappucino, looks normal but nice!
Card (another friend)'s machiato
Nut ordered Pear&Chocolate mosse cake. quite decent.
She alos ordered chocolate Éclair. Beautiful shape but a bit too sweet for my liking.
Card and I decided to order and share.. we chose the chicken sandwich. The bread was soft and chewy, chicken and mayonnaise was tasty with a tad of oilyness.
Pain au chocolate. flaky, crispy outside and moist inside.
Card with happy face.
Ja with happier face.
Card and Nut.
Nut and Ja
I also bought back the escargot (pain au raisins), a chocolate chip brioche and 2 of Pain au chocolat for Deryk and Henrik
Such a nice meal !

Boulangerie Patisserie are 2 of my favourite words, especially when travelling through France. the sandwiches look really fresh and big.
thanks for telling me about this place - I will definitely go next time I'm in melbourne. just saw the price tags - the cakes aren't expensive at all!
Simon : I am still not sure what is the different between Boulangerie and Patisserie... ^ ^'' You made me wanna go France now T_T
Panda : oh oh oh really? I still wanna try many things..let me thing first then will tell you later

hi ja - glad you could make it!
I featured Noisette on my blog too.. but only as "I want to go there one day". I can buy Noisette baguette's at a local green grocer - and they're DELICIOUS! I love French bakery bread it seems. The bread isn't expensive either. Thanks for reviewing Noisette :)
K : go go, still got so many things I wanna try ><
Jo : haha....I want it now, the olive bread is so nice.
Maria : haha.. I wish you got chance to go there. But you are so lucky can buy their goods at a grocer. Agree that the breads there are not expensive.
