Family party @ Pymble

Bobby house is at Pymble...I have never heard this place before, when I looked up on the map...ohhh..so far away :P

I made one of my favourite dessert...Tart au chocolate noir (Dark chocolate tart) but this time I subsituted Chocolate pastry with Almond meal short pastry...also turned out very good.

At first we wanna decorate the tart with grated white chocolate...but only white chocolate we can find is soft-center...so just put on top....

We took the train from Central station around 2.30 pm. to see Aunty Lilian first at Hornsby, we had coffee, cake, beer and wedges...(of couse coffee and cake was mine :D). then she took us to Bobby's place...

The house is like kid's heaven....so many things that kids love ! The big doll's house at the left hand side of the photo...wow...Can I have that one? hahaha

Angelica (4 years old) and Katylin (2 years old)... 2 girls are such a lovely lovely kids...They are very talkative and friendly. Even it was first time they met me, still came to talk and not afraid of me at all....

Tonight we had Thai dinner...Aunty Lilian told us that every Sunday night she will come to cook at this house...Such a lovely family ! Normally they have many types of food, Italian, Chinese, last week they just had Tapas, Spanish. They know that Deryk like Thai food so they prepared Thai for us.

Let's see what we had that night !

First we had Fish cake and Green mango salad for entree...Auntry loves to cook, she always learn how to cook (and bake ^ ^).

Aunty used Mackerel for making fish cake...quite nice..Even I am Thai, I have never made before..hehe...And the green mango salad finished with ground peanut and coriender.

Cooking process....(*whisper* Deryk didn't cook at all, just pretending.. haha...)

For main, (clockwise from top left )we had stir fried snow pea and brown mush room (the mushroon was very juicy), pork curry, BBQ chicken and Spicy prawn and asparagus)

Dessert was my Dark chocolate Tart...Lucky everyone likes it ...Phewwwww...

Oh, I am very impressed...Bobby has the coffee machine which is pretty normal, rite...but the thing is...he roasts his own coffee also. He even roasts the strong one for himself and milder for his wife...And the most amazing thing...He made his own Coffee Knock box ! What a pity I forgot to take photo of it...so cute !

I was really really full in this stage...

5 of us (excluded 2 kids)

I am really impressed by these family...Bobby, Stephanie and 2 little girls (they have another baby, Solomon...but he is too small, just 6 weeks). Look ! the girls are so cute and good at posing ..haha....
