Ramen Kan

Quickly catched a bus to city after finished bread class on last Monday, we all were so hungry. But everyone had their own things to do...so only 3 of us - Seok, Kwan and I - had dinner together at Ramen Kan, Chinatown. The small entrance to Ramen Kan is in between an Oporto and a Cold Rock ice creamery.

The restaurant is on the level 1 of the building...I like the atmosphere here... very trendy and stylish.

Kwan, Thai girl who lives in Wollongong...It takes about 2 hours from her house to school....my goodness, our class starts at 7.30 am. then you can imagine what time she has to get up !

Seok was preparing his Cannon D40 for taking picture of our dishes.

Apple juice for Kwan.

My order...Crab and corn ramen (i chosed this just because feel like eating seafood)...Soup is pork tonkotsu base,pork-bone stock, with gelatinous rich fragrant but a bit too salty for my liking.

Condiments: fried shallots and garlic, seaweed and chopped chilli for ramen.

Kwan's : Udon set with Fish Katsudon (battered fish fillets over rice with a soy glaze).

Seok had Ramenkan Dinner box ..which contains seaweed salad, chicken teriyaki, rice, salmon and tuna sashimi, shrimp, sweet egg, and miso soup.

The food we has was ok, but not outstanding. Still I would love to come back again...cuz got so many menu to try...maybe come in lunch time is cheaper...
