Earl Canteen is the one for sandwiches lover. After had a mini-breakfast at Dancing Goat, Nut and I walked around a bit and went to Earl Canteen. LS met us there during her lunch break.
There are so many interested choices on the menu. It wound be a hard time for me if I haven't had the choice in my mind.
EARL pork belly : Crisp skin Otway pork belly, apple, cabbage & fennel coleslaw, wilted silverbeet, baguette ($13.50)
Oh my goodness, the cracking on the skin was truly sinful, as good as the one in a good chinese restaurant. The veggie was fresh and crisp, cut through the fattiness of a heavenly cracking skin. The baguette was not bad, just that the filling was too good to pare with.
Autumn mushrooms and truffle paste wrap $11
Nut had this one, the egg white was the star for me, you can see the texture from the picture... The rest was nothing much for me since the pork belly blown me away.
